Methodology

The INSEAD AI 50 (Alum‑led) list is a community‑driven initiative to recognise and celebrate members of the INSEAD community who are shaping the future of artificial intelligence. The project is organised and curated by alumni volunteers and coordinated with the global INSEAD Alumni Association. INSEAD itself does not endorse the list and is not responsible for the content.

Nomination process

An open call for nominations was circulated across the global INSEAD network. Alumni, faculty, students and friends of the school were invited to nominate individuals who they felt were having a significant impact on artificial intelligence. Nominations were collected via a simple online form and supplemented by desk research and outreach conducted by volunteers from the INSEAD AI community.

Evaluation criteria

The following principles guided the selection:

Verification and updates

Biographical details and titles were verified using publicly available sources such as company websites, news articles and LinkedIn profiles. When possible, honorees were contacted directly to confirm their information. The list is current as of September 2025. Should you notice an inaccuracy or wish to suggest additional names for future editions, please reach out via the contact details provided by the INSEAD Alumni Association.

Presentation

To emphasise fairness and readability, honorees are presented alphabetically by first name. Each entry includes a short biography, the individual's institution or affiliation, their connection to INSEAD, and a link to their LinkedIn profile. Where available, headshot photographs are included to help the community connect faces with names.

This alum‑led initiative reflects the passion and generosity of INSEAD volunteers around the world. We hope it inspires future generations of innovators and leaders in artificial intelligence.
