About the INSEAD AI (Alum‑led) Community

INSEAD AI 50 is organised by the INSEAD AI (alum‑led) community. It recognises INSEAD students, staff, alumni and professors advancing artificial intelligence with real‑world impact and responsible practice. Selection is governed by alumni reviewers and published by the INSEAD AI (alum‑led) community.

The INSEAD AI (alum‑led) community curates industry learnings, convenes dialogues across industries and connects builders with decision‑makers. We are independent from INSEAD, yet proudly complement the school’s mission by supporting responsible AI innovation across sectors and regions. Our global community of leaders spans startups, corporates and institutions and forms a network of learners who help each other cut through the noise. Our simple goal is enabling leaders to apply AI effectively, responsibly and at scale.

INSEAD’s alumni network counts more than 70,000 professionals from over 170 nationalities. This diversity and reach provide a fertile ground for collaboration and knowledge sharing. By shining a light on the work of our peers, we hope to inspire future generations of AI builders and leaders.

Our Founders

The INSEAD AI (alum‑led) community was founded by three alumni who volunteered countless hours to build this network. In the spirit of fairness, they were not eligible for inclusion in the honorees list. To assemble the INSEAD AI 50, they worked alongside Frans Blom, President of the global INSEAD Alumni Association, as a four‑person selection committee.
